A whole football game on one circle. Where a drive sits on the wheel is when it happened. How far it reaches is where it got to.
One game, one circle
Chicago at San Francisco, Week 17, 2025. Every drive of the game, in order, around the clock.
Around
Kickoff is at twelve. The game runs clockwise, a full turn for sixty minutes, so halftime lands at the bottom. A wide wedge is a long drive; a narrow one went three and out.
Outward
The center is the offense's own goal line and the rim is the end zone they are attacking. Each dot is a snap, and the line traces the drive working its way out. The heavier ring halfway out is the fifty.
At the edge
Every drive ends on a band at the rim, thick and colored if it scored and thin grey if it didn't, labeled with the result and the new score. The ring just inside shows who was ahead at that moment.
The marks
On the live wheels, hovering a wedge gives you the drive and clicking any mark gives you the play it came from.
Below the wheel
Under each wheel is the running score through regulation, lined up so its halftime matches the wheel's. If the game went to overtime, a straight field follows: the yard lines run across, the clock runs down, and the two teams attack opposite ends the way a traditional drive chart shows it.
